About CUSTOMi
CUSTOMi is a senior-led consulting studio — not a web agency and not a marketing firm. We focus on one problem: businesses that are visible online but not converting visitors into customers.
Who leads CUSTOMi
Chris Moon
Chul came to the U.S. as a teenager — a 1.5-generation Korean-American who learned to navigate two cultures, two languages, and two sets of expectations without a roadmap. That experience shapes how CUSTOMi approaches bilingual market work: not as a translation problem, but as a positioning and trust problem.
Before CUSTOMi, Chul spent over a decade in IT infrastructure, including eight years as an IT manager for global companies operating across Asia, the U.S., and international markets. That work required managing systems under pressure, understanding what breaks when businesses operate across cultures, and making decisions that held up over time.
Later, he expanded into web development, digital marketing, SEO, and e-commerce — applying the same systems thinking to business growth problems. He has worked with businesses that operate in Korean-American communities, in the broader U.S. market, and across both simultaneously.
That combination — operational depth, cross-cultural fluency, and technical experience in web and SEO — is what CUSTOMi offers clients.
What makes CUSTOMi different
Diagnostic before prescription
We find the real problem before recommending a fix. Most agencies start with a package. We start with a question: what is actually preventing visitors from becoming customers?
U.S. market specificity
We understand how U.S. customers search, evaluate credibility, and decide to contact a business — and how those expectations differ from Korean or Asian market norms.
Systems thinking
Your website is part of your business system. We treat it that way — not as a standalone design project, but as a conversion and trust-building structure.
Bilingual without losing nuance
We work across English and Korean markets without defaulting to direct translation. Each language version is written for its audience, not adapted from the other.
Start with a Diagnosis
Before recommending anything, we identify exactly what is preventing visitors from becoming customers. That is where CUSTOMi always starts.
